I watched the slideshow and that's so wonderful process of design. The project had finished. And this prototype is not the final model, in the slideshow there's many form alternatives and this is one of them.
Gehry has achieved a psychological effect with his beautiful structures...he has created powerful, strong designs clothed in soft moving "garments." The strength of his buildings is the engineering, but beauty is magnified by the folding, romantic exteriors. He projects a sense of nurturing...as if the building like a woman, shelters her children.
