Architect Steven Holl inserts
space into a NYU stairwell. The project for the Department of Philosophy at the New York University continues the architect's preoccupation with
porosity this time as a means to invite yet preserve the building's historic exterior. The solution interacts without altering the façade of the
1890 building. The project brief included faculty and graduate student offices, seminar rooms, a periodicals library &
lounge and a ground floor 120-seat cork auditorium.

I really like the decorative work in that stairwell.
I also like the decorative sheet metal project for the stairwell.
To sum up, perforated metal could also give some eye catching for that stairwell. Especially when the perforated pattern reflects to any image. This can be achieved by using Image2Punch software.
Unlike common perforated sheet metal which usually has uniform pattern, Image2Punch allows you to create a custom perforated pattern based on your own image document. The perforated metal sheet based on the custom perforated Image2Punch pattern can be applied diversely to;
* architectural products
* agricultural equipment
* cabinet making products
* sanitation equipment
* pollution control devices
* lighting
* sound suspension
* Virtually any other possible application you might name
please have a look to our website www.image2punch.com to see how to create a new market opportunity in sheetmetal perforation project
