Christian de Portzamparc was the first...
Its the second french architect to win the prize, the first one was Christian de Portzamparc in 1994.
Nouvel is actually the second French architect to win the award. It was awarded to Christian de Portzamparc in 1994.
Anyway, I cannot but agree, it as about time for Jean...
He is not the first French architect to win Pritzker Prize: Christian de Portzamparc has won the prize at the beginning of nineties.
Actually, Christian de Portzamparc won it a few years back - he's also French.
I love many of Nouvel's buildings, so I was happy to hear of this. Also your blog makes me very happy! Thanks especially for introducing me to Michael Wolf's photography.
