G is for Godsell

Tucker House, Melbourne

The works of Sean Godsell have been continually exploring contemporary notions of an Australian vernacular that is a sensitive response to light and climate associated with an inventive use of materials, such as cedar battens, recycled shipping containers, glass and rusted steel. His works have called a 'genuine hybrid between architecture of the East and the West.'
