Architecture is a beautiful thing to love | and an even better thing to share

It stands for ‘African Architecture’ started by a group of Dutch architects who decided to establish ArchiAfrika on their return from Africa, after years of work and life on that continent. They realised that African Architecture is relatively unknown in the (western) world. This lack of attention cannot be explained by a poor performance of African Architecture. Strange as it may seem, African Architecture has not profited from the recently increasing global attention for other African arts: music, literature, painting, sculpture and dance.
