Zaha Hadid's project at Spittelau, Vienna, is one of her most compelling yet. Too bad it has become possibly the most expensive and ill-conceived social housing in the world.
Well, as the client changed crucial issues like facade cladding and interior architecture drastically, and did not let Hadid to solve the problem... what could they expect afterwords? Obviously, unusual architecture is not easy to deal with, and that is a problem cities have not yet discussed thoroughly.
