Zaha Hadid has been awarded first place for the design of the Cairo Expo City, beating a host of international practice including Norwegian architects Snøhetta.
The undulating fluid forms of the Cairo Expo City design were inspired by the natural topography of the Nile valley explained Zaha Hadid.
