Architecture is a beautiful thing to love | and an even better thing to share

a new architectural movement?
The Hinged walls of Steven Holl, most notably the Storefront for Art and Architecture, Tom Kundig moving prototypes, Klein Dytham and Calatrava winking eyes, not to mention the twisting torsos - it seems like recent architecture is all about movement
I don't think anything in Dubai is about architecture. . it's about excess.
Steven hall's storefront is not new at all, and it is the only one that I would consider some pleasant existing in my memory. Sorry for the rest, no time for that.
Architecture has always been about movement, but not necessarily about architecture moving :D

ReplyDeleterecent is a scalable concept, and an architecture of movement considers a rethinking of how we not only conceptualise but also how we represent it.
ReplyDeleteI think we are entering an era of Diversism.
