I saw a book of Ambasz's in our college library, and I bought his monograph soon after. I was blown away by his landscaping; the line between interiors and exteriors is blurred... Or perhaps, erased altogether because his buildings seem to be made as much of plants as they are of concrete and glass!
I'm not quite sure if the projects in his book were all constructed as I haven't read through the whole thing (also, living in a tropical country, I wonder about waterproofing and insect-proofing his structures), but all the same, his ideas place quite a twist on architects being "shapers of man's environment".
sure Fukuoka Prefectural Hall was one of the most important example of green architecture in 90's. Building and nature are well balanced. This blog is a good instrument to know new architectures and to share passion for this field, compliments!

green roofs, lots of sweet concrete and still looks modern.

the sheer scale of this project makes the green terracing so amazing.
