China's economy is expanding briskly. So is the architecture. But only few of the architects in China are doing things that make sense to the society and to the people who use it. The example in your post is one of them. Most of the other "star" architects are treating the architecture design as a purely art creation process. They copy and imitate the forms of western master pieces. For them, the function follows the form.
