House of the Week 170: Casa GR

Photos: Leonardo Finotti

Designed by Brazilian practice Bernardes + Jacobsen Architecture, Casa GR sits on a near 600m2 suburban lot in São Sebastião. The bedroom spaces, located on the upper levels float above in a white framed metal box, shielded from the tropical heat with vertical timber screens. The living and kitchen areas open to the lush landscape at times with double height spaces to engage with the family areas above.
