Liquid Sky, the YAP installation at MOMA /PS1 (Young Architect's Program), features colorful and kinetic water effects. The installation designed by Ben Ball and Gaston Nogues with Fountainhead may stay up through the end of October to dazzle and cool off the visiting crowds at the carnavalesque venue.


"Spatial City" a multi level city in Second Life where the inhabitants can build there own homes was concieved by the conceptual architect, Yona Friedman, as part of the Design Island. Yona Friedman is most recently remembered by his participation in Dokumenta 11 and the Venice Biennale in 2003.

This new open design competition invites registered architects and architect-led multidisciplinary design teams to design new visitor facilities for the Brockholes Wetland and Woodland Nature Reserve near Preston in Lancashire.
